My name is Steven Needlestone , I’m 24 years young, live in London. And I’m travelling to Moscow on a budget to watch the Champions League Final.

My trip will take me from London through Manchester,Liverpool, Stockholm and Riga before finally arriving in Moscow. Using low cost carriers such as Ryanair, the total cost of my travel comes in at £139.65(return).

As a lifelong Chelsea fan I can say from experience that there is nothing quite like following my team away. Ten years ago in 1998 I was in Stockholm for the Cup Winners Cup final against VFB Stuttgart. And witnessed the mighty Gianfranco Zola come on as a substitute to score the winning goal. The fantastic memories I took away with me from that trip will no doubt stay with me for the rest of my life. And when Chelsea made it to the final, this time of the Champions League I knew there was no way that I could miss out!

I shall be updating a live travel blog along the way. Including photos and stories from Day one(Monday 19th May), right through to day six( Saturday 24th of May).
So please keep checking back to read about all my experiences…Living a Champions League Dream
